Try this fiery Acapulco chicken with chicken, tomato, onion, bell pepper, jalapeños, and hot sauce for a zesty sautéed sensation.
Ingredients:
  • 2 large skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder, divided
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
  • 1 large tomato, cut into chunks
  • 10 drops hot pepper sauce
Instructions:
  • Sprinkle 1/2 tablespoon of chili powder, salt, and pepper over the chicken. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sauté the seasoned chicken until cooked through, about 3 to 4 minutes. Transfer the chicken from the skillet using a slotted spoon and keep it warm.
  • In the same skillet, cook bell pepper and onion until tender. Mix in jalapeño peppers, tomatoes, remaining 1/2 tablespoon chili powder, and hot pepper sauce. Stir constantly for 3 to 5 minutes. Add chicken and stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes.
