Quickly cook frozen lima beans, corn, and green chile peppers for a delicious and effortless side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen Fordhook lima beans, thawed
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (16 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chile peppers
Instructions:
  • In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Stir in lima beans, salt, and sugar. Simmer for 15 minutes over medium-low heat. Add corn and green chilies, cover, and cook until beans are tender, about 5 minutes. Drain and serve hot, optionally topping with butter.
