Prepare a rich homemade coffee liqueur infused with espresso ahead of time for the perfect festive beverage.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups dark brown sugar
  • 2 cups hot brewed espresso
  • 2 cups dark rum (such as Bacardi®)
  • 1 vanilla bean
Instructions:
  • Combine brown sugar and espresso in a spouted bowl, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Mix in rum, then transfer the mixture to a dark, clean bottle. Add vanilla bean, seal tightly, and allow to sit for 1 month before enjoying.
