Revive dull silver jewelry with a simple homemade cleaner using salt, baking soda, and aluminum foil.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 sheet aluminum foil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon dish detergent
Instructions:
  • Fill a microwave-safe mug or bowl with water and microwave for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Prepare a luxurious soaking bath for your jewelry: Line a cereal bowl with aluminum foil, pour in hot water, sprinkle in salt, baking soda, and dish detergent without mixing. Gently place your jewelry on top and allow it to soak for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Clean jewelry by washing in cold water and gently drying with a soft cloth.
