Spiced hot soy latte.
Ingredients:
  • 2 quarts soy milk
  • 4 inch piece fresh ginger root - peeled, sliced and crushed
  • 1.5 tablespoons whole cardamom pods, coarsely crushed
  • 1 tablespoon whole cloves, coarsely crushed
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
Instructions:
  • - In a saucepan over high heat, bring the soymilk to a boil. - Reduce heat to medium and stir in the ginger, cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon. - Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. - Sweeten with brown sugar to taste. - Strain the mixture into another pot and serve hot.
