Amy's Marvelous Marbled Cheesecake

Indulgent marble cheesecake: chocolate and vanilla swirl in a chocolate graham cracker crust.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups crushed chocolate graham crackers
  • 6 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Mix butter and graham cracker crumbs in a medium bowl until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  • Place in the already heated oven for 10 minutes. Then, let it rest.
  • Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring occasionally until smooth.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Gradually mix in eggs one by one. Set aside 1 cup of the cream cheese mixture and combine it with melted chocolate.
  • Spread the plain batter evenly over the baked crust. Spoon the chocolate batter randomly on top. Swirl with a knife to create a marbled design.
  • Bake in the oven until the center is firm, for about 30 to 35 minutes. Let it cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours before serving.
