Ingredients:
  • 54.60 gm olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 500g beef mince
  • 2 bottles (700g each) tomato pasta sauce
  • 4 basil leaves
  • 1 pinch oregano
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 13.50 gm white sugar
  • 625g ravioli
  • 500ml water
  • 125g parmesan, grated
  • 3 sprigs parsley, finely chopped
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, heat olive oil over high heat. Add diced onion and cook until transparent.
  • Stir in crushed garlic. Brown the mince. Pour in two bottles of tomato pasta sauce then stir. Add sugar, salt, pepper, oregano, and basil leaves then mix well. Simmer over low heat for 1 hour. Cook longer for sweeter flavors, ensuring it doesn't burn.
  • Simmer ravioli in salted boiling water until they float, about 5-10 minutes.
  • Once the ravioli floats to the surface, drain it in a colander, then toss it with sauce right away. Serve in a bowl, spoon a little extra sauce on top, sprinkle with grated parmesan, and garnish with a sprig of parsley.
