Roasted green beans with olive oil and lemon juice - a simple, elegant side dish perfect for entertaining.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 0.25 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 0.5 large lemon, juiced
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Coat beans thoroughly with olive oil in a mixing bowl. Transfer beans to a baking sheet or roasting pan and season with salt and pepper.
  • Roast in the oven for about 20 minutes until the beans are golden and slightly shriveled.
  • Take the beans out of the oven, pile them up, drizzle with fresh lemon juice, toss, and enjoy!
