Elevate family gatherings with this irresistible creamy potato bake.
Ingredients:
  • 10g butter
  • 1kg sebago (brushed) potatoes, peeled, washed, cut into 5mm-thick slices
  • Salt & ground black pepper
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 500ml (2 cups) thickened cream
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 160°C. Generously grease a 1.25L (5-cup) ovenproof dish with butter.
  • Create a potato layer on the greased dish, generously season with salt and pepper. Add another layer of potatoes, seasoning in between with salt, pepper, and sprinkling garlic. Pour cream evenly over the potatoes.
  • Bake in a preheated oven until golden on top and potatoes are very tender when pierced with a skewer, about 1 3/4 hours. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
