Delicious sweet-and-spicy ham glaze made with brown sugar, molasses, mustard, and gold rum.
Ingredients:
0.5 cup packed brown sugar
8tablespoons butter
0.5 cupgold rum (such as Bacardi Gold®)
0.25 cupdark molasses
3tablespoons spicy mustard
1tablespooncider vinegar
Instructions:
Mix brown sugar, butter, rum, molasses, mustard, and cider vinegar in a large saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer, stirring constantly, until the glaze thickens, about 8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
