Delicious sweet-and-spicy ham glaze made with brown sugar, molasses, mustard, and gold rum.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup packed brown sugar
  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 0.5 cup gold rum (such as Bacardi Gold®)
  • 0.25 cup dark molasses
  • 3 tablespoons spicy mustard
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
Instructions:
  • Mix brown sugar, butter, rum, molasses, mustard, and cider vinegar in a large saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer, stirring constantly, until the glaze thickens, about 8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
