Quick and easy peach cobbler using prepared pie crusts and canned peaches for a delightful treat anytime!
Ingredients:
  • 2 prepared pie pastries (such as Pillsbury®)
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg, or to taste
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans peach slices, drained, liquid reserved
  • 0.33333334326744 cup water
  • 0.25 cup salted butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup salted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 375 degrees F (190 degrees C), and gently place one of your prepared pie pastries in a pretty pie plate.
  • Combine brown sugar, 1 cup white sugar, 1 tablespoon cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg in a bowl. Mix in reserved peach liquid, water, and melted butter until the sugar dissolves. Gently fold in the peaches.
  • Fill the pie plate with the peach mixture and cover with the remaining pie pastry. Seal the edges by pinching and crimping them together. Sprinkle with butter pieces, the rest of the sugar, and the remaining cinnamon.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the crust is a beautiful light brown color.
