Apple and rhubarb crumble

Try a cozy apple and rhubarb crumble for a delightful winter treat!
Ingredients:
  • 425g rhubarb
  • 3 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 40.00 gm caster sugar
  • Zest and juice of 1 orange
  • 112.50 gm self-raising flour, sifted
  • 187.50 ml Berry & Apple Bircher Muesli
  • 100g butter, chilled, cubed
  • 45.00 gm brown sugar
  • 125.00 ml roasted hazelnuts, roughly chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C. Combine rhubarb, apple, sugar, orange rind, and juice in a 26cm x 16cm rectangular ovenproof dish, stirring until fully mixed.
  • In a large bowl, blend flour and muesli. Add butter and use your fingertips to combine until mixture is crumbly. Mix in sugar and hazelnuts. Sprinkle over rhubarb and apple mixture.
  • Bake until the crumble turns a beautiful golden brown color, usually around 45 minutes. Serve hot and fresh.
