Crispy fried green plantain patties, perfect for snacking or as a side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups canola oil for frying
  • 2 green plantains, peeled and shredded
  • 2 teaspoons garlic salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat canola oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C. Form approximately 2 tablespoons of shredded plantains into patties.
  • Cook the patties in the hot oil until they turn a delicious golden brown and crispy, which should take around 10 minutes. Place them on paper towels to remove excess oil and season with flavorful garlic salt.
