Spicy arrabbiata sauce with crushed red pepper flakes and garlic for a flavorful kick!
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 can (28 oz) Muir Glen™ organic crushed tomatoes with basil, undrained
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt (kosher or sea salt)
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • Hot cooked pasta, if desired
Instructions:
  • Heat oil in a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat. Cook garlic in the oil for about 1 minute, stirring constantly, until it turns golden.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens.
  • Serve the dish over your favorite pasta.
