Family-favorite broccoli casserole, a cheesy and delicious tradition for holidays and gatherings.
Ingredients:
  • 4 heads fresh broccoli, chopped
  • 1.5 cups shredded American cheese
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups crushed, seasoned croutons
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Boil salted water, add broccoli and cook for 1 minute. Drain and set aside.
  • Combine cheese, cream of mushroom soup, salt, and pepper in a saucepan over medium heat until cheese is melted. Toss in broccoli until coated, then transfer to a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, then stir in the croutons before sprinkling them over the broccoli mixture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the broccoli is tender.
