Crab lovers rejoice with this decadent claw meat crab cake recipe, packed with flavor and minimal filler.
Ingredients:
  • 16 saltine crackers, finely crushed
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 pound flaked cooked crabmeat
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
  • 1.5 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
  • Combine crushed crackers and water in a large bowl, allowing them to soften for about 1 minute. Gently mix in crabmeat, egg, mayonnaise, and mustard. Add seafood seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; stir until well combined. Shape crab mixture into 3/4-inch-thick patties and place on a tray.
  • In a large skillet, heat up some vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • Fry the patties in hot oil until they are golden brown and heated through, approximately 2 minutes on each side. Place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil before serving.
