Indulgent shrimp and ham Alfredo pasta with a spicy kick.
Ingredients:
  • 8 ounces cooked ham, diced
  • 1 (16 ounce) package angel hair pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, or to taste
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1.5 pounds frozen medium shrimp, thawed
  • 1 teaspoon spicy seasoned salt (such as Lawry's®)
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic salt
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 quart heavy whipping cream
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • 1. Boil a large pot of lightly salted water. Add angel hair pasta and cook until al dente, about 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain well.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté green bell pepper and onion in olive oil until onions turn translucent, about 5 minutes. Add shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2 to 3 minutes. Mix in ham, seasoned salt, garlic salt, salt, and black pepper.
  • Combine cream and milk in a saucepan and heat for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in cheese and cook until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes. Add pasta and mix well to coat.
