Decadent brownie cookie bar loaded with butter, vanilla extract, brown sugar, and chocolate chips, topped with a sweet glaze.
Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2.3333332538605 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1.3333333730698 cups chocolate chips
  • 0.33333334326744 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Cream together 1 1/2 cups white sugar, butter, and brown sugar until fluffy; then mix in eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Mix into the egg mixture, then gently fold in 1 1/3 cups of chocolate chips. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until edges are golden brown and crisp, for about 10-12 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool for at least 10 minutes before enjoying.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and chocolate chips. Stir and cook until melted, for about 3 to 5 minutes. Pour the mixture over the cookies in the pan.
