Energizing oatmeal packed with oats, nuts, and seeds for your biking or backpacking adventures.
Ingredients:
1cupinstant oats
2tablespoons chia seeds
2tablespoons sliveredalmonds
4teaspoons brown sugar
2teaspoons powdered peanut butter (such as PB2®)
1teaspoonground cinnamon
0.5 teaspoonunsweetened cocoa powder
1pinchsalt
1 (1.2 ounce) packagepeanut butter (such as Justin's®)
Instructions:
Mix together oats, chia seeds, almonds, brown sugar, powdered peanut butter, cinnamon, cocoa powder, and salt in a convenient zip-top sandwich bag for easy travel preparation.
Once the water is boiling, add the oatmeal mixture to the pot and give it a quick stir. Take the pot off the heat, cover it, and let it sit for about 5 minutes until the water is fully absorbed. Mix in the peanut butter.
