Indulge in crispy halloumi cheese fries, served with a spicy chili dip or marinara sauce. Ideal for snacking or as an appetizer.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 8 ounces halloumi cheese, cut into French fry-shaped sticks
  • 1/2 cup plain panko breadcrumbs
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Combine mayonnaise, chili sauce, and sour cream in a bowl, whisk until smooth. Season with salt and black pepper, then chill until needed.
  • Combine flour, garlic powder, and paprika in a shallow bowl. Place beaten egg in a separate shallow bowl, and bread crumbs in a third bowl.
  • Coat halloumi fries in a flour mixture, then dip in egg, and finally press into bread crumbs until fully coated on all sides. Arrange evenly on the prepared baking sheet, spaced about 1/2-inch apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until beautifully golden and crispy. Enjoy right away with your favorite dipping sauce.
