Ingredients:
  • 1 pound fresh rhubarb, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 pinch salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) for a perfectly baked dish.
  • Spread the rhubarb in a casserole dish and generously coat it with a mixture of sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the rhubarb is soft, which should take about 30 to 45 minutes. Once done, remove from the oven and stir vigorously to transform the rhubarb into a smooth sauce. Enjoy warm, chilled, or at room temperature.
