Indulge in juicy barbecue steak paired with zesty potato salad for a flavorful family meal.
Ingredients:
  • 800g baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 (about 200g each) Beef Porterhouse Steaks
  • 60ml olive oil
  • 120g pepper
  • 250.00 ml chopped basil
  • 20.00 ml capers, rinsed, drained
  • 40g olive
  • 40.00 ml red wine vinegar
  • 80g fetta, crumbled
  • Lemon wedges, to serve
Instructions:
  • Boil the potato in a large saucepan of salted water for 10 minutes until just tender. Drain and gently crush the potatoes using the back of a wooden spoon.
  • Brush the steaks with oil and season them. Heat a barbecue grill or chargrill to medium-high heat. Cook the steaks for 2 minutes on each side or until they are cooked to your liking. Transfer the steaks to a plate and cover them with foil. Let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Combine the potato, capsicum, basil, capers, olives, vinegar, and remaining oil in a large bowl. Season generously, toss well, then transfer to a serving dish. Sprinkle with fetta and serve alongside steaks and lemon wedges.
