Freeze fresh farmers market herbs in ice cubes for a summer sauce anytime.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup pine nuts
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup fresh Italian parsley
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
Instructions:
  • In a food processor, blend oil, garlic, and pine nuts until smooth. Gradually add basil and parsley while the processor is running. Finally, mix in cheese and lemon peel until the mixture is smooth with a slightly textured consistency.
