Elevate classic Beanie Weenies with perfectly seasoned baked beans for a winning weeknight meal.
Ingredients:
  • 2 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
  • 1 (16 ounce) package hot dogs , cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 (28 ounce) can baked beans with pork
  • 0.66666668653488 cup ketchup
  • 0.25 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ½ teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 1.5 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
  • Assemble all ingredients for the recipe.
  • Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. If using bacon, add it along with the hot dogs. Cook, stirring occasionally, until browned on both sides, for about 5 minutes. If not using bacon, add 1 tablespoon of oil to the skillet before cooking the hot dogs.
  • Combine the baked beans, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, and onion powder, stirring until well mixed.
  • Bring the mixture to a lively boil over medium-high heat. Lower the heat and gently simmer until the mixture thickens, approximately 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. Mix in the fresh parsley. Serve the dish while hot.
