Gourmet burgers infused with bold flavors of horseradish, steak sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Topped with caramelized onions, mushrooms, pepperjack cheese, bacon, and guacamole for an unforgettable sandwich experience.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 0.5 onion, sliced
  • 4 fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 2 tablespoons steak sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 4 slices pepperjack cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, cut into halves
  • 0.25 cup guacamole, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Get your outdoor grill ready by preheating it to high heat and then lightly oil the grate.
  • In a skillet over medium-low heat, melt butter until sizzling. Sauté onions and mushrooms until onions are tender and golden, about 10-15 minutes. Sprinkle with brown sugar and caramelize for an extra 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Combine ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, horseradish, steak sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, dried onion, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Form the mixture into 4 patties, each approximately 6 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick.
  • Grill burgers until well-browned, about 3 minutes per side. Lower heat to medium; continue cooking for 3 minutes per side, adding a slice of pepperjack cheese to each burger for the final minute.
  • Dress each burger generously with the mushroom and onion mixture, 3 crispy bacon slices, and a dollop of creamy guacamole before serving.
