Upgrade your brunch game with a Tequila-infused Bloody Mary, made with fresh tomatoes for a lighter twist. Use store-bought tomato juice for convenience and adjust tequila to your liking. Cheers to a new favorite cocktail!
Ingredients:
  • 750g roma tomatoes, roughly chopped
  • 2 Lebanese cucumbers, peeled, roughly chopped
  • 250ml (1 cup) chilled tequila
  • 180ml (3/4 cup) lemon juice
  • 1.30 gm Tabasco sauce or cayenne pepper
  • 12.20 gm Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.63 gm smoked Spanish paprika (optional)
  • 8 small stalks celery with leaves attached
  • Ice cubes, to serve
Instructions:
  • Puree tomatoes, cucumbers, and 1 teaspoon of salt in a food processor until smooth.
  • In a jug, mix together the vegetable mixture, tequila, and lemon juice. Stir in the Tabasco and Worcestershire sauces and paprika, if desired, until well combined.
  • In 8 glasses, layer celery stalks with ice cubes, then pour in the tantalizing bloody Maria. Sprinkle with a touch of freshly ground black pepper, and serve alongside delectable agrodolce olives.
