Delicious smoked chuck roast cubes, perfectly sweet and savory, glazed with BBQ sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 (3 pound) chuck roast, or more to taste
  • 0.5 cup barbeque sauce
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the smoker to 275°F (135°C).
  • In a bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, and steak seasoning. Coat the roast evenly with the mixture and transfer it to a baking pan.
  • Smoke the roast until it reaches 165°F (74°C), about 4 to 4 1/2 hours. Wrap it in foil and smoke for an additional hour until it reaches 195°F (90°C).
  • Take out the roast from the smoker and allow it to rest for 20 minutes while keeping the smoker on.
  • Cube the meat and place it back into the baking dish. Drizzle with barbecue sauce and sprinkle with brown sugar.
  • Continue infusing the meat with delicious smoky flavors for an additional 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
