Satisfying one-pot Creole meal bursting with flavor for the whole family to enjoy.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb cooked pork Andouille sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 2 3/4 cups hot water
  • 1 box (6.1 oz) Hamburger Helper™ Bold Firehouse Chili Macaroni
  • 1 can (14 1/2 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
Instructions:
  • In a 10-inch skillet, cook the sausage over medium-high heat for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it begins to brown.
  • Combine hot water, uncooked pasta, Hamburger Helper sauce mix, tomatoes, onions, peppers, and celery in a pot. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  • Lower the heat and simmer with the pot covered for 5 minutes, giving it a stir now and then. Take it off the heat, uncover (the sauce will thicken as it sits), and give it a final stir before serving.
