Spicy-sweet baked ribs with tender meat, flavored with cayenne and crushed pineapple.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup garlic powder
  • 0.25 cup onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or more to taste
  • 1 lime, sliced into wedges
  • 1 rack pork ribs
  • 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks drained, juice reserved
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) to create the perfect cooking environment.
  • Combine the brown sugar, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, cumin, and cayenne pepper in a bowl to make a flavorful seasoning rub.
  • Drizzle lime juice over the ribs and massage in the seasoning mix. Arrange the ribs snugly in a large roasting pan; cut if needed. Scatter pineapple chunks on top. Pour beer and reserved pineapple juice into the pan. Seal pan with foil securely.
  • Roast in the oven until tender, for 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Allow to rest for 15 minutes before serving.
  • Take the hot pan out of the oven and allow it to cool for 15 minutes to enhance the flavors before serving.
