Brad's Killer Eggnog

Indulge in a rich and flavorful eggnog cocktail with real eggs, cream, and plenty of rum for the perfect holiday treat.
Ingredients:
  • 12 eggs, separated
  • 2 cups white sugar, divided
  • 1 quart rum
  • 1 quart half-and-half
  • 1 quart milk
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • ice cubes
Instructions:
  • In a glass, metal, or ceramic bowl, beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add 1 cup sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks form - the egg whites will form sharp peaks when lifting your beater or whisk straight up.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together egg yolks and the remaining cup of sugar until frothy and lightened in color.
  • Gently fold the egg whites into the egg yolk mixture, then pour it into a large punch bowl or pitcher. Stir in the rum, half-and-half, and milk.
  • Sprinkle nutmeg on top of the eggnog and serve chilled with ice.
