Ingredients:
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking soda
  • 0.75 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 1.5 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 0.30000001192093 cup wheat germ
  • 3 cups rolled oats
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to create the perfect cooking environment.
  • Sift flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder into a medium mixing bowl.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat together butter, white and brown sugars until light and fluffy. Drizzle in vanilla, then beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in sifted ingredients until well combined.
  • Combine chocolate chips, wheat germ, and oats into the mixture, gently folding until thoroughly incorporated. Place rounded teaspoonfuls of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the edges are just slightly browned. The cookies may seem undercooked, but that's the desired consistency. Let them cool on a wire rack.
