Bundt® Cake Icing That Doesn't Run

Make a stunning Bundt® cake with a thick and stable frosting that stays beautifully on top of the cake without running down the sides.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups powdered sugar, or more as needed
  • 2 tablespoons hot water, or more as needed
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 splash vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Combine 2 cups of powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of hot water, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until smooth and thick, adjusting with more powdered sugar and hot water as needed to achieve desired consistency.
  • Transfer the icing into a zip-top bag and cut off a large corner for easy decorating.
  • Drizzle the thick icing around the top of your Bundt® cake, allowing it to slowly cascade down the sides, adding more as needed until all the icing is used.
