Delicious Czech dumplings with buttery cabbage and onions, a quick and easy traditional recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 head green cabbage, chopped
  • 1 cup flour
  • 0.5 cup water
  • salt to taste
Instructions:
  • In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add the onion and cabbage, cooking them in the butter until the cabbage turns translucent.
  • - Bring a small pot of water to a boil, then create a dough by mixing flour and water. - Drop small spoonfuls of the dough into the boiling water; cook until firm, then drain. - Add the dumplings to the cabbage mixture and season with salt before serving.
