Whip up tasty caesar salad toasts for a crowd-pleasing appetizer.
Ingredients:
  • 56.88 gm extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled and quartered
  • 3 petit pain rolls
  • 6 slices prosciutto
  • 1 baby cos lettuce
  • 65.63 gm Caesar salad dressing
  • 30g shaved Parmesan
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C. Infuse 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil with one clove of garlic, quartered, then let it sit for a few minutes. Slice 3 Bake At Home petit plain rolls into 12 thin slices each after removing their ends.
  • Coat both sides of the bread slices generously with the aromatic garlic-infused oil. Arrange the slices in a single layer on a baking tray and bake for approximately 5 minutes until they turn crunchy and acquire a beautiful golden hue. Allow the slices to cool completely before using.
  • Crisp up 6 slices of prosciutto on the grill. Once cooled, break them into pieces. Finely shred 1 baby cos lettuce. Drizzle 1/4 cup Caesar salad dressing over the croutons. Layer on the lettuce, prosciutto pieces, and top it off with 30g shaved parmesan. Serve within 30 minutes for the best flavor.
