Indulge in scrumptious layered cake and ice cream shots with yellow cake, strawberry ice cream, Oreo cookies, and whipped topping.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 1 quart (4 cups) strawberry ice cream
  • 24 Oreo chocolate creme sandwich cookies, broken into small pieces
  • 2 cups frozen (thawed) whipped topping
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan) and generously coat the bottom and sides of a 13x9-inch pan with baking spray that includes flour.
  • Prepare cake mix following the box instructions, incorporating water, oil, and eggs. Allow the cake to cool entirely in the pan on a cooling rack, then crumble it using a fork.
  • In individual 4-oz glass jars, start by adding a small scoop of ice cream to each. Follow with crumbled cake and half of the cookie pieces. Finish with more ice cream, a dollop of whipped topping, and the rest of the cookie pieces. Enjoy right away or freeze until ready to serve.
