Irresistible carrot cake with the best cream cheese frosting ever!
Ingredients:
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1.3329999446869 cups vegetable oil
  • 4 cups grated carrots
  • 0.75 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch pan by greasing and flouring it. Then, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon and set aside.
  • Combine sugar and eggs in a large bowl until thick and pale. Add oil and mix, then gradually incorporate the sifted dry ingredients. Gently fold in the carrots and nuts. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Once cooled, top with your choice of Cream Cheese Frosting.
