Spicy curry companion: traditional carrot sambal.
Ingredients:
  • 9.20 gm vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard seeds
  • 2 fresh curry leaves, sliced
  • 1 small carrot, grated
  • 165.00 ml Greek Style Yoghurt
  • Pinch of dried chilli flakes
Instructions:
  • In a small frying pan over medium-high heat, sizzle mustard seeds and curry leaves in oil for 1 to 2 minutes until seeds start to pop. Remove from heat, transfer to a bowl, and let it cool.
  • Combine the carrots, yogurt, and chili with the mustard seeds. Season with salt and pepper, then mix well. Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy!
