Tender lamb chops marinated in olive oil, roasted garlic, and red wine, then braised to perfection on the stovetop. Served with flavorful sauteed zucchini and rice.
Ingredients:
  • 2 lamb chops
  • 2 bulbs roasted garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried thyme
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1.5 cups olive oil for marinating
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
Instructions:
  • Lay lamb chops in a shallow dish, generously coat both sides with savory roasted garlic. Sprinkle with fragrant thyme, salt, and pepper. Pour 1 1/2 cups of luxurious olive oil over the top, then chill in the fridge overnight.
  • Take out the chops from the dish and discard the solidified oil. Return the chops to the dish and pour red wine over them. Refrigerate for 4 hours before cooking.
  • In a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat, sauté chopped onion in 3 tablespoons of olive oil until tender. Add lamb chops to the skillet, cover, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes per side.
