Tender sirloin tip roast recipe: Perfect hot or cold, great for party rolls with mustard.
Ingredients:
  • 3 pounds beef sirloin tip roast
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled and halved
  • 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C), then tie up the roast with cooking twine.
  • Create eight 1/2-inch slits in the roast and insert a piece of garlic into each one, then generously sprinkle with pepper before placing it on a roasting pan rack.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Lower the temperature to 325°F (165°C) and use a meat thermometer to check the center. Keep cooking until it reaches your preferred doneness, aiming for a temperature reading of 140°F (60°C) for medium.
  • After taking it out of the oven, gently cover with foil and allow it to rest for 15 minutes. Next, slice thinly against the grain and utilize the flavorful pan drippings for a delicious gravy.
