Spicy rub with cumin, thyme, rosemary for flavorful, smoky ribs.
Ingredients:
0.5 cupwhite sugar
0.5 cup packed brown sugar
0.33333334326744 cupsea salt
3tablespoons New Mexico red chile powder
2tablespoons garlic powder
2tablespoons onion powder
2tablespoons Hungarian paprika
2tablespoons ancho chile powder
2tablespoons groundblack pepper
1tablespoondried thyme, or more to taste
1tablespoonground cumin, or more to taste
1tablespoondried rosemary
1tablespoonground nutmeg, or more to taste
1tablespoonground allspice
1teaspooncayenne pepper, or more to taste
Instructions:
Combine a flavorful blend of white sugar, brown sugar, sea salt, red chile powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, ancho chile powder, black pepper, thyme, cumin, rosemary, nutmeg, allspice, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
Massage the seasoning mixture generously onto the ribs or meat of your choice. Cover and refrigerate the meat for 8 hours to overnight before smoking.
