Simple and quick oven-baked chicken breast, ready in one hour for a delicious and healthy weeknight meal.
Ingredients:
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 lime, or to taste
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chunky salsa
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfectly heated cooking environment.
  • Place the chicken in a 2-quart casserole dish. Drizzle lime juice over the chicken and season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Combine the zesty salsa and aromatic garlic in a bowl. Generously spoon 1/4 cup of the flavorful salsa blend over each succulent chicken breast, then drizzle with extra lime juice for a tangy kick.
  • Bake chicken breasts in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes until fully cooked and juicy. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure they reach 165 degrees F (74 degrees C) in the center.
