Make elegant appetizers with jamon, sherry figs, and mascarpone for a hassle-free gourmet experience.
Ingredients:
  • 16 dried dessert figs, halved
  • 60ml sherry
  • 2 x 140g packets pikelet bites (see note)
  • 250g mascarpone cheese
  • 100g sliced jamon (see note) or prosciutto, cut into strips
  • Olive oil, to drizzle
  • Chervil (see note) or flat-leaf parsley sprigs, to garnish
Instructions:
  • Let the dried dessert figs steep in sherry for 2 hours or until fully infused.
  • Arrange the pikelets beautifully on a platter, generously topping each with mascarpone. Top with a slice of jamon and a piece of fig. Season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, drizzle with oil, and finish with a sprinkle of chervil or parsley for garnish.
