Elevate store-bought Christmas pudding with a time-saving twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1-1 1/2g good-quality bought Christmas pudding
  • 120ml (6 tbsp) rum or brandy
  • 600ml bought fresh custard
  • 300ml thickened cream, lightly whipped
Instructions:
  • Before serving the pudding, uncover it and generously drizzle four tablespoons of rum or brandy over the top. Let it sit overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Cook the pudding the next day following the instructions on the package. Combine custard, cream, and the rest of the rum or brandy in a bowl. Drizzle the custard over the pudding before serving.
