Cheat's fudge snowflakes

Make festive fudge snowflakes for Christmas cake decorating.
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 x 180g blocks white chocolate, chopped
  • 395g can sweetened condensed milk
  • 50g butter, chopped
  • Pink gel food colouring
Instructions:
  • Prepare the cake pans by greasing two 5cm-deep, 21cm square pans. Line the base and sides of the pans with baking paper, leaving a 2cm overhang on all sides.
  • In a heavy-based saucepan over medium-low heat, combine chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Cook and stir for 10 minutes until melted and smooth. Pour half of the fudge into one prepared pan and spread it evenly. Add pink food coloring to the remaining fudge and pour it into another prepared pan, spreading it level. Refrigerate until firm, preferably overnight.
  • Cut snowflakes from fudge using 6cm and 8cm cutters. Enjoy!
