Easy and delicious pasta bake perfect for busy weeknights, with plenty of leftovers for lunch.
Ingredients:
  • 1000.00 ml bolognese sauce (see related recipe)
  • 250g macaroni
  • 500.00 ml plain reduced-fat Greek-style yoghurt
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 187.50 ml grated reduced-fat tasty cheese
  • Pinch ground cinnamon
  • Chopped fresh parsley, to serve
  • Salad leaves, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180C /160C fan-forced. In a saucepan over medium heat, heat the mince mixture covered, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes or until heated through (see note).
  • Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling salted water according to package instructions until tender. Drain.
  • Mix pasta into mince until fully combined. Transfer mixture into a 2.5 litre baking dish. In a bowl, mix yogurt, egg, and cheese together. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon over the mince mixture, ensuring the top is smooth. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden. Let it rest for 10 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve with salad.
