Indulgent Swiss cheese fondue with Gruyère and white wine, perfect for dunking bread, baby potatoes, or veggies.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 pound shredded Swiss cheese
  • 0.5 pound shredded Gruyere cheese
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf French bread, cut into 1 inch cubes
Instructions:
  • Simmer wine in a fondue pot over medium-low heat until warmed.
  • Combine flour and nutmeg thoroughly.
  • Gradually sprinkle in the Swiss and Gruyère cheeses, 1/4 pound at a time, stirring until fully melted. Season with salt to taste.
  • Accompany with sliced French bread.
