Quick and affordable dinner the whole family will enjoy in just 30 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 500g lean beef mince
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 250.00 ml grated tasty cheese
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 62.50 ml chopped basil
  • 570g jar tomato, onion & basil chunky sauce
  • 400g spaghetti
  • Basil leaves to serve
Instructions:
  • Mix together the mince, egg, cheese, onion, and basil. Shape into balls and season to taste.
  • Heat oil in a large non-stick frying pan. Cook the meatballs in two batches, allowing each to cook for 4-5 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Place the meatballs back in the pan and generously ladle the sauce over them. Cover and simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Boil spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and transfer to a bowl. Top with meatballs and sauce. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
