Indulge in Chef John's scrumptious blueberry clafoutis for a taste of summer's finest berries.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pint fresh blueberries
  • 1.25 cups milk
  • 0.66666668653488 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and generously butter a 2 1/2-quart baking dish.
  • Empty the luscious blueberries into the awaiting baking dish.
  • Place milk, sugar, flour, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the batter over the blueberries and give a gentle shake to eliminate any air bubbles.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until puffed and the center is set. Allow the clafoutis to cool until it deflates and is warm.
