Halibut with green onion, sour cream, and melted Parmesan topping - quick, easy, and delicious.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds halibut steak, 1 1/2-inch thickness
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 1 pinch dried dill weed
  • 0.33333334326744 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Butter the interior of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Arrange the halibut in the baking dish.
  • Combine sour cream, fresh green onions, creamy butter, a pinch of salt, a dash of white pepper, and fragrant dill in a bowl.
  • Coat halibut generously with the creamy sour cream mixture.
  • Simply bake the halibut in a preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until the fish easily flakes with a fork.
  • Take the halibut out of the oven and generously sprinkle it with savory Parmesan cheese.
  • Position the oven rack 6 inches below the broiler heat source and preheat the broiler.
  • Place under the broiler until the cheese is lightly browned, about 2 to 3 minutes.
