Versatile chermoula relish enhances fish, meats, and veggies; also perfect for dressings, dips, and avocado toast.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups parsley leaves, unpacked
  • 2 cups cilantro leaves, unpacked
  • 6 medium cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
  • 1 preserved lemon, seeds removed and halved (or 1/4 cup lemon juice plus 1 teaspoon lemon zest)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sweet or smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes or Aleppo chili flakes
Instructions:
  • Add ingredients to blender or food processor: Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor.
  • Prepare the sauce: Blend or process the ingredients until just combined, keeping some small pieces of herbs visible. Use a high-powered blender on low for 15 seconds, a standard blender for 30 seconds, or a food processor for 10-15 seconds. Remember to scrape the sides and pulse for 5 seconds.
